Under our OPEX / RESCO model, Saksham funds, builds and maintains the solar plant on your society rooftop. The society signs a 15–25 year Power Purchase Agreement and pays a per-unit tariff 30–50% below the grid rate.
How the OPEX model works
Saksham owns the asset for the contract term; the society only pays for solar units metered and delivered.
- Signed PPA locks a per-unit tariff, escalated at 2–3% p.a.
- Saksham handles CAPEX, insurance, O&M and inverter replacement
- Society retains net-metering benefit for common areas & lifts
- Ownership can transfer to the society at the end of the term
Best-fit societies
OPEX works when the connected common-area load is meaningful and the roof is unobstructed.
- 20+ flats, gated communities and premium apartment complexes
- Clubhouses, gyms, STPs, and lifts on a single common meter
- Roofs with 500+ m² shade-free area
